National Institute of Technology, Warangal, Invite all the eligible candidates to apply and write NIMCET - 2013 test for admission into Master of Computer Applications (MCA) offered by 11 participating National Institute of Technology (NITs) at Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal.

Exam Pattern Changes:-
NIMCET 2013 some important changes made in this year as compared with that of the previous year. The eligibility criterion for writing is changed and qualifying criteria for awarding rank is also set. This year, Question paper will consist of 120 objective questions with a distribution of 50, 40, 10, 20 questions set from Mathematics, Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness and General English respectively.

Indian Nationals securing  at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10 point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale in case of SC, ST) in BSc / BSc (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time
B.E / B.Tech or equivalent from a recognized University are eligible to appear.

Candidates who are appearing for final year/semester of BSc / BSc(Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum 3 years or BE/BTech in the academic year 2012-13 are also eligible to apply. Such candidates shall have to furnish the proof. 
who have completed/completing degree BSc / BSc(Hons)/BCA/ BIT of 3 years from Open Universities are also eligible to apply provided their programme is approved by UGC / AICTE and Distance Education Council (DEC) of Govt. of India.

How to apply: -
The eligible candidates need to apply for NIMCET-2013 using online application only and then post a hard-copy of generated application form along with necessary enclosures. Candidates profile can not be altered online after submitting online application form. After scrutiny of applications, admit cards will be made available for downloading. NIMCET-2013 test will be conducted on May 26th, 2013 (Sunday) at various test centers.  Candidates should apply for through  Online  only website Candidates are required to take printout of the generated application form and keep two copies of the same.

Fee: -
Processing fee Rs.1,600/- for OPEN/OBC and Rs.800/- for SC/ST in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “NIMCET-2013”  The candidates are advised to write their name, address, unique application number generated and printed on hard-copy of the application form on reverse side of the demand draft.

The generated application form along with all relevant documents and DD should reach - “The Secretary, NIMCET-2013, National Institute of Technology, Warangal  506 004, Andhra Pradesh” by Speed Post or Registered Post.

The candidates may check the receipt of their Application Number on the website after April 26th, 2013. Candidates whose particulars do not appear on the website may send an e-mail to up to May 4th, 2013 by forwarding a copy of the generated application form, proof of payment of fees such as photo copy of Demand Draft and two passport size photographs, proof of posting.
