The Directorate of Examinations has issued guidelines for supplementary exams scheduled to be conducted in June for candidates who were unsuccessful in their higher secondary exams or missed the exams. Those who had appeared for the Plus-Two public examinations in April 2013 as regular or private candidates but failed or were absent for any of the subjects are eligible to apply.
These candidates must pay Rs. 50 for each subject along with a miscellaneous charge of Rs. 35. The payment must be made through a State Bank of India challan downloaded from its website.
The challan must be in the name of the Director of Government examinations, Chennai. The last date for submitting the applications and challan is May 27. Applications sent through postal services will not be accepted.
Applications may be downloaded from www.dge.tn.nic.in starting from May 23 - 27 up to noon. May 27 is the last date for payment of exam fees in the bank.
Typed applications forms along with a photograph of the candidate should be attested by the principal/head master of the school. Candidates should submit their typed application forms along with photocopy of the bank challan to their school head, and private candidates should submit the same to the Government Exams Regional Deputy Director’s office by May 27 evening.
The Supplementary examinations will be held from June 19 to July 1st, 2013.
