|Karnataka DCET 2013 re exam hall ticket 2013|
Karnataka Examinations Authority and Department of Higher Education is Decided to conduct re-exam for Diploma Holders on June 30th. Students who wrote the Common Entrance Test for diploma holders (D-CET) on Sunday will once again have to take the same test on June 30.
This decision was taken by Department of Higher Education, it was reported that all of the 180 multiple-choice questions were the same as the previous year’s exam (2012 D-CET). DCET -2013 all the questions were the same as in the previous year’s DCET 2012 paper, but placed in different order. That the decision to conduct a re-exam was taken after consultations with the officers concerned.
The exam is important for those students who passed the diploma examination conducted by the Board of Technical Examinations or an equivalent examination in Karnataka for admission to the second year of day and evening engineering degree courses. The exam was taken by 21,159 students across 56 centres in the state. Thirteen of these centres were in Bangalore. There are around 16,000 seats available in engineering colleges through lateral entry.
Students will have to once again appear for D-CET examination which will be held on June 30,. There is no separate fee would be charged for the re-exam. As many as 21,159 students had taken the examination at 56 exam centres in 12 districts on Sunday. The entrance test determines admission through the lateral entry scheme into engineering courses.
The fresh admission hall tickets will be made available to the candidates on the website http://kea.kar.nic.in on June 18th.
