Orissa CHSE Results 2014
Council of Higher Secondary Education, Orissa, Bhubaneswar, Very Shortly Announced 12th Class/CHSE Plus Two/HSE Results 2014 at http://orissaresults.nic.in and http://as.ori.nic.in. Last Year Results announced on May 29th, 2014. Nearly 3.24 lakh students took class 12 examinations, which started on March 3rd, in arts, science and commerce streams across the state of Orissa. As many as 205 Examination Management Hubs (EMHs) have been set up for safe keeping of question papers. The EMHs have been declared temporary treasury and brought under CCTV surveillance. Each hub will cater to six to seven colleges and examination centres identified by CHSE. Question papers on particular subjects are dispatched to examination centres from the hubs on the day of the respective exams.

This year four sets of questions are being supplied to students. Questions are same, but in different sequences. Students will not be given any additional answersheets. They have to write answers on 32-page stitched booklet. CHSE used to hold the examinations in two sessions, first from 10 am-1 pm and the second from 2pm-5pm. However, from March next year, the council is planning to hold the exams starting from sometime between 10 am and 11 am only, following the question paper leak in March. Starting 2014, CHSE would store question papers in 200 highly-guarded examination management hubs (EMH) and supply those to examination centres on the day of examinations.

But since single sessions may also stretch the total number of examination days, the council would not have too many days of gap in between two consecutive papers. The aim is to finish is the examination by March-end so that evaluation is on time, especially since general elections are likely in April-May this year. Many teachers would also be deployed on election duty.  The government has decided to give answer sheets of fixed 32 pages stitched by threads, as against the current practice of students attaching additional sheets as per the requirement from the coming examinations. The council is in final stages of moderating questions and printing answer-sheets.
